with my church choir in High School after the Gulf War in NYC at a Yankees & Mets game. The sad thing is that I

Born and raised: Des Moines Iowa. The middle child of three boys. Roosevelt high school Education: Diploma in Nursing: Allen Hospital School of Nursing BS University of Northern Iowa Diploma in Nurse Anestesia; Air Force Master’s in Anesthesia Education: Gonzaga University
Family: Two daughters, two step daughters four grandchildren....all doing well. Married to Liz, the premire personal trainer in Central Texas (www.bdyfrm.com). I'm a truly lucky guy! About me: I recieved my Anesthesia training in the Air Force and went on to teach for 10 years at Wilford Hall Medical Center in San Antonio. After retirement, I taught Nurse Anesthesia for five years at the University of Kansas for before relocating at Scott and White. When away from the hospital, I enjoy travel and active leisure time. Cycling both with Liz and the S&W cycling team keep me fit. Where I live Something most people don't know about me: I am a veteran sky diver with 250 jumps and recipient of the star crest solo award. I have completed the Boston Marathon and finished third in my age group at the long course triathlon national championship. While at the University of Kansas, I set up and gained AANA approval for the first distance education program in Nurse Anesthesia. |
